Hallowe'en Raggedy Annie

Hi! I've been working on a Hallowe'en style Raggedy. Meet my first Pumpkin Annie.

SOLD!!!

She's dressed in a primitively sewn black and orange dress, and has a rusty bell attached to a scrap of homespun cotton fabric tied around her waist. She is 9" tall, not counting the green ric-rac pumpkin vine on top of her head. She's as sweet as pumpkin pie!

Wonder why she looks so surprised? In her left hand is the paper mache pumpkin Halloween bag that she picked out herself. Her eyes just about popped out of her head when she saw one that looked almost like her!

Here is another view of her, from the back:

She is going into my Etsy shop this afternoon. *UPDATE: She sold right after I listed her. Thank you, Joyce!

Her BFF, "Homespun Pumpkin Annie" is going into my Etsy shop, too.

Tomorrow I'll be posting my latest Santa. I hope you come back to see him.

Enjoy your weekend.

Later,
Maggie

Wow! I am a huge fan of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy (have made one or two or more in my lifetime) but you have managed to bring Raggedy Ann to an entirely new level! Pumpkin Annie is a wonderful fete of enginuity, creativity and talent! Bravo Maggie!

Oh Maggie, this little Pumpkin Annie is simply adorable! She's so cute with her little pumpkin bag and those orange and white striped socks go perfectly with her dress. I'll bet she won't be in your shop for long. Hugs

Ms. Pumpkin Annie certainly would get the bestest candy at my door for trick or treats. She is precious. Oma Linda
